Obituary
Albert J. Vogt, of 308 Main Street, Eden, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, July 11, at St. Agnes Hospital, in Fond du Lac.
He was born June 26, 1908, in the town of Fond du Lac to Peter and Elizabeth Kramer Vogt.
He married Della Akley at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron, on April 28, 1942. Mr. Vogt farmed in the town of Byron for many years, and owned and operated A.’s Standard Services Station of Taycheedah. He was employed by Mercury Marine, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eden, a member of its Holy Name Society, Mercury Marine retirees, Eden Senior Citizens, and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus 664.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Edward of Fond du lac, and Richard at home; two daughters, Mrs. James (Darlene) Matteson and Mrs. Steven (Mary) Dunisch, both of Fond du Lac; one foster sister, Mrs. Hilda McCory of Fond du Lac; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Eden. Father Francis Markey officiated. Burial was in St. John’s parish cemetery, Byron.
