FUNERAL SERVICES SET FOR LOMIRA RESIDENT, MEMBER OF BOARD
Albert J. Vollmer 53, Lomira, a grocery store owner for many years, died early today of a coronary attack.
He was born Oct. 21, 1907, at LeRoy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vollmer, and attended Mayville schools. On July 3, 1937, he was married to Anita Kielgas at Lomira.
Mr. Vollmer was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary’s Church, Lomira, and was a member of the village board for eight years. He had served as caretaker at the church before his death.
Surviving are his father; his widow; two sons, James and David, at home, eight brothers, Frank, Milwaukee; Felix, Edmund and Raymond of LeRoy; Aaron, Hartford, Gilbert, Oswald, and Philip, Mayville; and four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Colhen, Kekoskee; Mrs. Lorraine Schultz, Beaver Dam; and Mrs. Ida Rediske and Mrs. Aurelia Schraufnagel, Mayville.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Edgar Braun officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be in state at the Kietzer Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Sunday.
