ALICE GASSNER
Alice May Gassner, 63, of 955 Elm St., Lomira, died Saturday Aug. 28, 1993, at Milwaukee County Medical Complex.
She was born March 7, 1930, in Brownsville, a daughter of Lawrence and Jenny Wiese Dorhmann. On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Roy Alex Gassner at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy.
Mrs. Gassner retired from Mayville Metal Co. in 1985. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.
Survivors include one daughter, Margie Gassner of Slinger; one son, Don of Lomira; her mother-in-law, Agnes Del Ponte of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Michael, Michele and Joshua Gassner; two brothers, Ray Dohrmann of Maryville and Roy Doahrmann of Nasbro; one sister Agnes Ruhland of Brownsville and bothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband on March 16, 1983; and one sister, Erna Strook.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. Steve Stradinger will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kietze Funeral Home in Lomira.
