MRS. AMELIA STERR

Mrs. Amelia Sterr, 76, Route 1, Brownsville, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes Hospital.

Born July 3, 1895, in the Town of LeRoy, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schabel. She was married to Alvin Sterr at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, LeRoy, on Feb. 18, 1919.

Mrs. Sterr resided on the rural Brownsville farm all her life. She was a member of Christian Mothers of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lomira.

Surviving are her widower; three sons, Roman and Earl both of Brownsville and Milton of Knowles; two daughter, Mrs. Ervin Giese of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Sylvester Kuen of Brownsville.

Other survivors are 29 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Joseph, Albert and Bernard Schabel all of LeRoy. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Lomira. The Rev. Ernest Dreher will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
