ANGELINE MARIE HABEL
Angeline Marie Habel, 82, of Brownsville, died Thursday morning, Dec. 20, 2007, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lomira.
She was born Dec. 23, 1924, in New York, the daughter of Antonio and Stella DeLorenzo Marrese. On June 28, 1943, she married Thaddeus Habel at St. Mary’s Church.
She was a graduate of Lomira High School. After their marriage, Angeline and her husband made their home in Brownsville. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. Angeline was active in the Legion of Mary, Ladies Sodality, Rosary Prayer Group at Hope Health and Rehabilitation. She also belonged to the Brownsville Community Club Volunteers.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Louise) of San Antonio, Texas, Carol (Rick) Hitchcock of Berlin, Nancy Hayward of Brownsville, and Cathy Rice of Tampa, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Dean (Angie) Habel, Troy (Paula) Hitchcock, Heidi (Bryan) Marks, Beth (Jeff) Tobak, Stephanie Hitchcock, Angela Hayward, Thad Habel, Jenny Habel, Megan Habel, Ross Rice, and Ashley Rice; six great-grandchildren, Hannah and Stephen Hitchcock, Cassidy Habel, Angelique Fiss, Loganne and Morgan Marks, and Sydney Tobak; her sisters and brothers, Sam Marrese, Mary Geerts, Connie Graf, Frank (Anna Mae) Marrese, and Nancy Smrcina; numerous nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; one son, Tony; one sister, Anna Rose; and one sister-in-law, Bess Marrese.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, at the church. The Rev. Dennis Budka will officiate. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira is serving the family.
