ANTHONY STOMMEL
Anthony Stommel. 62, of Lomira, formerly of Mayville, died Monday at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born on June 11, 1911, in the Town of Williamstown, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Stommel. On July 27, 1935, he married Alice Steffan in Neosho. Mr. Stommel was a retired foreman with the Purity “Cheese Co., Mayville.
Survivors include his widow; three sons, Robert and Donald, both of Mayville, and Ronald at home; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Adelmeyer of Knowles, and Mrs. Dieter Gust of Racine; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Gitter of Campbellsport, Mrs. Roland Becker of Beaver Dam and Mrs. Arnold Mueller of Oconomowoc; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira, with the Rev. J. W. Goebel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
