MR. SCHRAUFNAGEL
Family and friends of Carl J. Schraufnagel, 59, of 1017 North Ave., Lomira, may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. A vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira. The Rev. Joseph Safiejko will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Schraufnagel died Friday, Sept. 24, 1982, at St. Agnes Hospital after an illness of several years.
He was born Sept. 20, 1923, at LeRoy to Joseph and Theresa Feucht Schraufnagel. On Sept. 7, 1946, he married Leona Marie Bauer at LeRoy.
Mr. Schraufnagel was a former Town of LeRoy farmer and resident in Lomira for the past 10 years. He was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira, and of its Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife of Lomira; three sons, Carl of Beaver Dam, Joseph of Fond du Lac and Fred of Lomira; six grandchildren; five brothers, Alfred of Lomira, Norbert of Eldorado and Hubert, Francis and Leonard, all of LeRoy, four sisters, Sister Philomene, OP. of Kenosha, and Mrs. Al (Loretta) Dunst, Mrs. Harry (Martha) Cisler and Mrs. Frank (Alice) Maliszewski, all of Milwaukee. His parents preceded him in death.
