MRS. CLARA R. WEYER
Mrs. Clara Rose Weyer, 83, of Route 1, Brownsville, a resident of the Town of Lomira all her life, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
She was born in the Town of Lomira on Aug. 9, 1888, a daughter of Henry and Catherine Klumpyan Meis. She was married to Bernard Weyer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira, in 1910.
Mrs Weyer was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernardine Thelen of Route 1, Brownsville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948 and by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. Ernest Dreher will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
