Visitation for Clarence T. Gueller will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today with a parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. from St. James Church, Oakfield. The Rev. Guy Gurath will officiate, and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
Mr. Gueller, 86, of Route 7, 3704 Highway 175, died of a sudden illness on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1989, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1903, in Eland to Theodore and Minnie Buntrock Gueller. On Sept. 25, 1928, he married Virginia Maternoski at Holy Angels Church, Milwaukee.
Mr. Gueller was employed in Milwaukee until he moved to Fond du Lac where he owned and operated Byron Oil Co. from 1939 until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Robert Gueller of Mount Calvary; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Kuechenberg and her husband Richard of Fond du Lac; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard in 1965.
