DOROTHY E. PFALZGRAF

OAKFIELD – Dorothy E. Pfalzgraf, 74, 222 N. Main St., Oakfield, died Friday, Jan. 26, 1990 at the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be Monday (tonight) at 7:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield, with Father Guy Gurath officiating.  Burial will be in the Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.

Mrs. Pfalzgraf was born Dec. 7, 1915 in the Town of LeRoy, Dodge County, the daughter of Eugene and Clara (Haller) Attenberger.  She was married to Eldor Pfalzgraf, July 20, 1938, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, LeRoy.

Following marriage, she and her husband were engaged in farming in the LeRoy-Oakfield area all of their married lives.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield, a member of the church’s Altar Society, member of the Daughters of Isabella and also the Oakfield Conservation Club.

Survivors include her mother Clara Attenberger of Oakfield, one brother Roman Attenberger, Galisteo, N.M.; two daughters, Joan (Dwayne) Ryan, Oakfield, and Linda (Jan) Holzmann, St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Gerald (Judith) Pfalzgraf, Oakfield and Eugene (Nancy) Pfalzgraf, Oakfield; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

Friends may call at the Kohls Funeral Home, Oakfield, Monday (today) from 3 to 7 p.m.
