FRANK BRODZELLER

Funeral services for Frank Brodzeller, 79, of Sun City, Ariz., a former Lomira rural mail carrier, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira.  He died Sunday in Phoenix, Ariz.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.

Visitation for Mr. Brodzeller will be after 4 p.m. Friday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.  The family suggests contributions be directed to Jesuit Missions, 6600 Nicollet Ave., South, Minneapolis, Minn.

He was born March 22, 1895, at Lomira.  He married Margaret Schmitt of St. Killian, who died in 1968.

Mr. Brodzeller was a veteran of World War I and received the Purple Heart.  He was one of the original members of Bintzler-Waehler American Legion Post 347 in Lomira and served as the first commander and for 30 years as a service officer.

He retired in 1958 after 40 years of postal service and moved to Sun City, Ariz., in 1961.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gladyce Arveson of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Tom of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rev. Robert Brodzeller, S.J., of Omaha, Neb.; a grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Peter Heisler of West Bend.
