George W. Theisen, for eight years died suddenly Saturday a.m. in Juneau, clerk of the courts of Dodge County. Apoplexy was the cause. Mr. Theisen retired in apparently good health last night and arose from bed about 4:320 o’clock this morning. He sat down on a chair and complained to his wife of not feeling well. He placed his hand to his head and became unconscious, death resulting in a few moments.
Mr. Theisen was born in Lomira and was one of the best known democrats in Dodge County. His popularity was such that he was four times elected clerk of the courts. He was also justice of the peace at the time of his death. Mr. Theisen had a large circle of friends in Watertown where he was well known and highly esteemed and his untimely death will be learned with sorrow by all.
Mr. Theisen was 45 years old and is survived by his widow and seven children.
