MRS. WILLIAM BRUHA
Mrs. William Bruha, 75, a resident of Oakfield, died Thursday at St. Agnes Hospital.
She was born Feb. 15, 1896 in the Town of Arlington, Dane County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McGowan. The former Hazel McGowan was married to William Bruha on Sept. 8, 1926 at Lodi.
They moved to Fond du Lac where Mrs. Bruha was chief cook at the Fond du Lac County Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 1958 and moving to Oakfield. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield, and the Altar Society of the church.
Survivors include her widower; and a brother, Robert McGowan of Montello. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church, Oakfield. The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate and burial will take place in Avoca Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
