Hazel Lucille Marie Uttendorfer 77 of 312 N. Main St., Oakfield, died today, Sept. 2, 1994, at University Hospital and Clinics in Madison.
She was born on Aug. 13, 1917, in the Town of Lamartine, a daughter of Ferdinand and Louise Hageman Priepke. On April 19, 1941, she married Louis Uttendorfer at Byron.
Mrs. Uttendorfer was an elections poll worker and a member of St. James Catholic Church of Oakfield and its Altar Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie Barbeau and her husband, John of Mount Calvary; two sons, Edward and his wife Sandra of Fond du Lac, and James and his wife Patricia of Oakfield; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, David Priepke and his wife Josephine of Lamartine; three sisters, Florence Haase and her husband George of Brandon, and Mildred Simon and her husband Ambrose and Alice Belling and her husband Donald, all of Rosendale; and two sisters-in-law, Irene Uttendorfer of Fond du Lac and Loraine Priepke of LeRoy.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband in 1977 and six brothers.
A Liturgy f Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield. The Rev. Don Zerkel will officiate. Burial will be at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mach Funeral Chapel where a parish vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
