MRS. HESPRICH
Mrs. Isabelle Julia Hesprich, 88, a resident of Hope Nursing Home, Lomira, died there Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1982.
She was born at Campbellsport on Oct. 18, 1893, a daughter of the late Eli and Elizabeth Schmidt Strobel. She was valedictorian of the Fond du Lac High School class of 1912, was graduated from Milwaukee County normal, taught at the old Bentley School north of Lomira for two years and at Lomira Public Grade School for three years.
On June 27, 1917, she was married to John Hesprich at Lomira, and they resided on the Hesprich homestead, one mile west of Lomira, for 50 years.
Mrs. Hesprich was the leader of Clover Leaves 4-H Club, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Lomira, Christian Mothers Sodality and served as a substitute teacher at St. Mary's Parochial School.
Surviving are three sons, Anthony and Francis both of Lomira and Raymond of Mayville; and six daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Catherine) Hemmerich of Menomonee Falls, Mrs. Sylvester (Joan) Krofta of Mayville, Mrs. George (Rita) Grusnick of Oshkosh, Mrs. Clarence (Dorothy) Becker of Curtiss, Mrs. Arthur (Germaine) Brennan of Kenosha and Mrs. Ralph (Louise) Held of Rubicon.
Also surviving are 67 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Rhodeof of Kenosha, Mrs. Clarinda Herndobler of Bowling Green, Ky., and Mrs. Arthur (Leona) Hagen of Cleveland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967, and by a son, four grandchildren and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Lomira. The Rev. Joseph Safejko will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends of Mrs. Hesprich may call from 4 to9 p.m. Friday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.
