MR. DELFELD
Jerome J. “Chic” Delfeld, 83, of Route 1, Brownsville, died Thursday, May 20, 1982, at Ameicana Healthcare Center here.
He was born May 27, 1898, at Brownsville, a son of the late John and Lucy Romens Delfeld. H married Paula Hoffmann of Milwaukee on May 4, 1927.
Mr. Delfeld was a retired farmer and mechanic. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Philip of Brownsville, John Daniel of Fond du Lac and Mark of Evergreen Colo.; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Beatrice) Reinhold of Eldorado, Mrs. Charles (Gail) Wiese of Theresa, Mrs. Robert (Jeanne) Dalton of Mayville and Kathryn at home; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira. The Rev. Joseph Safiejko will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Kietzer Funeral Home Lomira, is in charge of arrangements.
