J.M. MILLER OF LOMIRA DIES AT 76
CHURCH SERVICES SET; SURVIVORS INCLUDE WIDOW, CHILDREN
John M. Miller, 76, of Lomira, died early Wednesday afternoon at his home following a lingering illness.
Born April 7, 1890, at Theresa, he was the son of John and Jennie Kohl Miller. He married Rose Schmidt May 12, 1914, at St. Mary’s Church in Lomira.
The couple celebrated a golden wedding anniversary in 1964.
He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Prey of Utica, Mich; two sons, Alphonse Miller and John P. Miller of Utica, Mich; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Oscar Miller of Theresa, and one sister, Mrs. Julia Schwantes of Mayville.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira, Rev. Mark Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira.

Funeral services for John M. Miller, who died Wednesday, were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira, Rev. Mark Lyons officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Eisenhut, Ray Weyer, Clinton Hoff, Norman Meis, Clem Zipper and James Kuechler.
