JOHN RYAN
Funeral services for John G. Ryan, 38, of Elm Street, Oakfield, who died in a Dodge county traffic accident on Saturday, March 13, 1982, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kohl’s Funeral Home in Oakfield, and at 11 a.m. from St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield.
The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate, and burial will be in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
Friends and relatives of Mr. Ryan may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. today.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1943, in Fond du Lac, a son of Don and Sylvia Geisthardt Ryan. On Feb. 3, 1962, he married Betty Seyfert at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron. Mr. Ryan lived in Oakfield his entire married life.
He was employed as a machinist at Kerney & Trecker Corp., Milwaukee, and was a member of Oakfield Recreation Association, St. James Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. Mr. Ryan also served as a director of the Oakfield Booster Club and was a retired member of the Oakfield Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Mark, Joseph, Gary, Greg, William and Daniel, all at home; his mother; and one brother, Joel of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his father.
