- SCHRAUFNAGEL
Joseph A. Schraufnagel, 40, of 510 S. Fairfield Ave., Juneau, a former resident of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, July 18, 1991, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born May 26, 1951, in Fond du Lac, a son of Carl J. and Leona M. Bauer Schraufnagel.
Mr. Schraufnagel was employed at the former California Canners and Growers’ Joan of Arc plant in Mayville. For the past five years, he worked at Pillsbury-Green Giant of Beaver Dam. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa and the Catholic Knights Society.
Survivors include his mother of Lomira; two brothers, Carl R. and his wife Nancy of rural Juneau, and Fred G. and his wife Alyce of rural Lomira; uncles and aunts; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1982, and by one uncle, Hubert.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
The Rev. Charles Loehr will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a parish vigil will be held at 7:45 p.m.
Memorials in his name may be directed toward the American Heart Association and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
