KATHLEEN ‘JO’ VOLLMER
Kathleen “Jo” Vollmer, 59, of W5393 Wildlife Lane, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born May 23, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Sue Grueber Scharschmidt.
On May 2, 2964, she married Claude Vollmer in Oakfield.
Kathleen was employed by Aluminum Resources of Fond du Lac as an office manager. She was a member of Sons of Zebedee Catholic Church in Byron, Fond du Lac HOG Chapter and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was an avid RVer and an avid NASCAR FAN.
Survivors include her husband, Claude of Fond du Lac; two sons, Cole (fiancée Pam Ruehl) Vollmer of Oakfield and Chet (Catherine) Vollmer of Rosendale; one brother, Chuck (Bertie) Scharschmidt of Fond du Lac; one sister, Lorrie (Bruce) Kohn of Rhinelander; and five grandchildren, Brandon, Colton, Shelby, Dalton and Alaina. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Monday, July 21, 2003, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy. The Rev. Charles Wester will officiate and burial will be at Sons of Zebedee Cemetery in Byron.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Monday, July 21, 2003, at the church.
Koepsell Funeral home in Mayville is serving the family.
