OPERATOR OF TAVERN; HOLY TRINITY RITES ARE ANNOUNCED
Louis Heisler Sr., 79, of Kewaskum, died Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Beaver Dam, following a heart attack.
Operator of a tavern in the Kewaskum area for 42 years, Mr. Heisler was born May 9, 1887, in the Town of Ashford. He married Agnes Brodzeller Sept. 10, 1912, at St. Michael’s Church, Milwaukee. She died Nov. 14, 1959. He was a member of the Modern Woodman Camp 2233 of Kewaskum and honorary member of the Loyal Order of Moose of West Bend.
Survivors include three sons, Russell, West Bend, Franklin of Fond du Lac, and Louis Jr. of Kewaskum; one daughter, Mrs. William Harback, Kewaskum; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Clem Funke and Mrs. Michael Schmerda of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ervin Bonlander, St. Kilian, and Miss Phyllis Heisler of Fond du Lac; and two brothers, Leo and Peter of West Bend.
Friends may call at Miler’s Funeral Home, Kewaskum. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum, Rev. Robert S. Brodzeller, S.J., nephew of the deceased, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.
