Marie L. Zemski, 74, of Theresa, formerly of Brown Deer, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at her home with her family at her side.
She was born on December 11, 1935, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Lenger) LeMay, and on May 14, 1955, she was united in marriage to Francis "Fritz" Zemski in Milwaukee.
Marie was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa.
Those Marie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Fritz; nine children, Suzanne (Patrick) Forrestal, Sandra (Anthony) Campanelli, James (Charlotte) Zemski, Patricia (Michael) Oberkirsch, Debra (Brad) Gratton, Daniel (Carey) Zemski, Vickie Randall, Scott (Debbie) Zemski and Steve (April) Zemski; four brothers, Tom, Don, Mike (Lynda) and Dave (Joann) LeMay, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie was held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 699 Milwaukee Street in Lomira. Father Dennis Budka officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called at the Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 until 9:30 a.m. where a prayer service was held before going to church for Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lung Cancer Research or MS Society are appreciated.
