MYRON FRANKE
Myron “Merv” Franke, 33, of N10952 County Trunk Z, Mayville, died Monday, Aug. 14, 1995, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1961, in Waupun, a son of Donald and Emma Sperger Franke. He was a 1980 graduate of Mayville High School and a partner in farming with Don-Er Farms. He was a member of the Mike Butler racing team and enjoyed hunting, fishing and pool.
Survivors include his parents of Mayville; two stepsons, Joseph Zuehlke of Waupun and Michael Zuehlke of Mayville; his paternal grandmother, Erna Franke of Mayville; one brother, Scott Franke of Oakfield; two sisters, Mary Cooper and her husband Jerry of Richland Center, and Kay Franke and her fiancé Peter Mittelstadt of Brownsville; one niece, Ashley Franke; and other relatives.
Preceding him in death were one sister, Cynthia; his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield. The Rev. Don Zirkel will officiate. Entombment will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.; and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.
