Patrick and wife Bridget Crowley were counted in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin in the 1850 census, next door to John and Mary Crowley, all born in Ireland.
The "Wisconsin Sentinel," Feb. 25, 1899. Says he was "in his ninetieth year." So early in the year, it is most likely Patrick turned 90 in 1899. Patrick died in Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin 3 March 1899. He is buried at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Byron, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. It is his 1899 obituary that names Kells, County Mead [sic, Meath], Ireland as his birth place. It is likely his siblings were also born there. His marriage record follows: "AD 1861 4 May In the presence of Rev. Peter Bonaventura O.S.F. Patrick Crowley, son of James (Jacobi) and Margaret (Margarita) Crowley, and Bridget Crowley, daughter of Matthew and Helena Crowley, entered into marriage, with the dispensation of the banns of matrimony, who have been together for a very long time. Rev. Benedictus Smedding, and I wrote the record J.C. Perrodin they were the witnesses J.C. Perrodin (translated from Latin)."
