PAUL J. BAIERL

Paul J. Baierl, 79, of N11544 Highway Y, Brownsville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 1996 at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born on March 22, 1916, in Mayville, a son of Frank and Theresa Baierl Baierl.  He married Bernice Gassner at St. Mary’s Church in Lomira.

Mr. Baierl was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Lomira.   He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.  He was employed at Brownsville Canning Co. and at Muehlius Builders in Lomira.

Survivors include three brothers, Henry of Mayville, Alois of Brownsville, and Frank and his wife Linda of  Neshkoro; one sister-in-law, Erna Baierl of Fond du Lac; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his wife in 1954; and two brothers, Edward and Alphonse.

Services:  Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira.  The Rev. Steve Stradinger will officiate.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 p.m. Tuesday t the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorials in his name may be directed to Bethany House in Fond du Lac.
