PAUL JAEGER
Paul Jaeger , 70, of Route 1, Brownsville, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1987 , of a heart attack.
He was born June 7, 1917, to Peter and Christine Ketter Jaeger. He married Marcella Schreier in 1940.
Mr. Jaeger farmed in the Brownsville area until 1979. He was a director and vice president of the Bank of Oakfield, former Town of Oakfield chairman, a director of the Brownsville Community Club and the Oakfield Mutual Insurance Co., member of the Fond du Lac County Swine Breeders, former president of the Wisconsin Chester White Breeders Association and its 1986 distinguished award winner, and president of the American Dairy Association District 7 and American Milk Producers Association District 5-B.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Uttendorfer of Route 1, Oakfield, Mrs. Ronald (Sandra) Briese of Oshkosh and Miss Susan Jaeger at home; three sons, Richard of Fond du Lac and Rudy and John, both of Route 1, Brownsville; 17 grandchildren; and one brother Clarence of Campbellsport. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 9 p.m.at Kohls Funeral Home in Oakfield, and services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield where he was a member. Officiating will be the Rev. Peter Drenzek. Burial will be in Avoca Cemetery at Oakfield.
