ROBERT “BOB’ MEMEROW
Robert “Bob” Memerow, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 207, at Manor Care.
He was born April 27, 1916, in Sussex, the son of Paul and Marie Wendt Mamerow.
Bob served his country in the Army in World War II. He married Geraldine Clark on April 3, 1948, at St. John’s Catholic Church in South Milwaukee. Bob was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Lomira American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; three daughters, Marie Engman of Fond du Lac, Carol (Stuart) Joas of Oakfield and Ann (Gary) Ter Beest of Brandon; three sons, Paul (Mary) Mamerow and James (Glenda) Mamerow, both of Berlin, and Mark (Kathy) Mamerow of Waupun; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Sons of Zebedee St. James Church, Oakfield.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the church. The Rev. Michael Petersen will officiate. Burial will be at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield.
