RUTH M. SPLINTER
August 26, 2003
Ruth M. Splinter, 86, of Fairview Township, died Tuesday at Davis Manor, Wright Township.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., on June 7, 1917, a daughter of the late Paul and Susan Brodzeller Himmelberg. She attended Marquette University.
Mrs. Splinter was a former resident of Lancaster and Wyoming. She resided in Mountain Top since 1968 and was a member of St. Jude's Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sister Mary Theophane, S.S.C.M.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, August M.; daughter, Margaret A. Dudek, New Mildore, son, Paul F. Pittston; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 from the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top, with a Funeral Mass at 10 in St. Jude's Church. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lomira, Wisc. Friends may call Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
