SHELLY BAUER
Funeral services for Miss Shelly Ann Bauer, 16, of 989 Milwaukee St., Lomira, will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. She died Monday, July 18, 1983, at Milwaukee County Medical Complex due to injuries received in a car accident in Dodge County.
The Rev. Joseph Safiejko will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.
She was born May 17, 1967, in Fond du Lac, to Dennis and Darlene Hanke Bauer. She would have been a junior at Lomira High School.
Miss Bauer participated in basketball, track and volleyball, and was a bat girl for the boy’s baseball team at school. She was a member of the Spanish Club, served on the homecoming court in 1982, was a member of the student council and played on the Lomira Girl’s Summer Softball team.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jamie at home; a brother, Shane at home; paternal grandfather; Herman Bauer of LeRoy; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rose Hanke of Lomira.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather.
