Obituary
MR. AGERS
Urban F. Agers, 84, of Route 2, in the Town of Byron, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 1979, at Americana Healthcare Center.
He was born Dec. 30, 1894, in the Town of Byron, the son of the late John and Helen Burke Agers. He attended St. Norbert College and farmed in the Town of Byron.
Mr. Agers was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church at Byron and Holy Name Society.
Surviving are two brothers, Ralph of Fond du Lac and Claude of Route 2; and a sister, Miss Hazel Agers of Route 2. A sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Church, Byron. The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends of Mr. Agers may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
