MRS. VERONA WOLLERMAN
Services for Mrs. Verona Wollerman, 76, a retired food store manager, were held Saturday at the Feerick funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood. And at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 2490 N. Cramer St.
Mrs. Wollerman, of 3049 N. Maryland Av., died Thursday at her home, apparently of a heart attack. She was born in Lomira (Dodge County) ad came to Milwaukee in 1911. She had worked as a sales clerk and secretary in several food stores until 1919, when she became manager of the National Food store—then National Tea –at 2597 N. Downer Av. She stayed there until 1946, after which she worked as a sales clerk for IGA stores here and conducted demonstrations for Best Foods Co. in the stores. She retired in 1958.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs Lucy Bishop and Mrs. Frances Radant, and a brother, Alois Kiefer, all of Lomira.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira.
