Virginia Williams, 90, of Oakfield, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Waupun Memorial Hospital. She was born February 17, 1931 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Drewek) Leonard. On June 21, 1952 she married Fred Williams at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wausua, WI, celebrating 59 years of marriage. She was a member of Sons of Zebedee-St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield. She enjoyed going to estate sales, spending winters in Corpus Christie with her husband, and loved to read.
She is survived by five children, Mark Williams of Fond du Lac, David (Barb) Williams of Lomira, Lynne (Thomas) Williams-Kryger of Itasca, IL, Jennifer (Wayne) Schmid of St. Robert, MO, and Julie Williams of Evergreen Park, IL; twelve grandchildren; great grandchildren; two siblings, Shirley (Jack) Shelbrack of Cross Plaines, WI and Frank Leonard of Menomonie, WI; her best friend, Betty Hoffman; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; two sons, Steven Williams and Peter Williams; daughter-in-law, Janet Williams.
Private family services were held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
