WILLIAM F. PETERS
William F. Peters, 77, of 965 N. Water St., Lomira, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
He was born on March 1, 1922, in Richfield, a son of Anton and Barbara Stepanski Peters.
On Aug. 10, 1946 he married Shirley Beck. She preceded him in death on Oct. 21, 1976.
Mr. Peters loved to play cards and horseshoes. He worked at Klein Hardware for about 10 years and was a milk hauler for 35 years. He also worked on various farms in the area.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lomira.
Survivors include five sons, Tom (Sue) of Eden, Joe at home, Tony (Lou) of Lomira, Charles of Fond du Lac, and Mike (Gayle) of Fond du Lac; one daughter, Frances Demerath of Lomira; his grandchildren, Hether and Nicole Peters, Robin and Christine Demerath, Jeremy, Joshua and Jesse Peters, Mary Ann Peters, Gisele Peters; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Peters and Brandan Sannm Callahan; two step-grandchildren, Jared and Nicholas Bellis; one sister, Betty Czoschke of Lomira; one brother, Charles (Gladys) Peters of Richfield; one brother-in-law, Normie Kirsch of Milwaukee; one godchild, Jeannie Lancer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two sisters, Mary and Frances; one brother, Frank; one grandson, Nicholas Peters; his father-in-law, Earl Beck; one son-in=law, Butch Demerath; one daughter-in-law, Vicki Peters; and two brothers-in-law, Elmer Czoschke and Ollie Cortte.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lomira. The Rev. Vincent Holubowicz will officiate. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: From 4 p.m. to the time of services Wednesday at the church.
Kietzer Funeral Home of Lomira is assisting the family.
