Providing Financial Advice to the Parish
The Finance Council provides advice and guidance to the pastor in the administration of parish assets. This includes preparing the parish budget, monitoring the financial condition of the parish, reviewing any indebtedness of the parish, and assisting in creation of an annual financial report to the parish community.
The St. Mary Finance Council meets 6 times a year. Council meetings are held with the pastor, members, trustees, liaison from the Pastoral Council, and bookkeeper. The meetings are closed to the public.
Committees
The Council has committees to assist with the implementation and coordination of financial activity in the parish. Learn more about the different committees below.
