Obituary
Mrs. Adeline Sandow, 82, a resident of this city for many years, died Tuesday at Pewaukee at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Wagner, where she had spent the past five weeks. Mrs. Sandow became ill a week ago, and death was due to a heart ailment.
The body is in state at the Koepsell Funeral Home, where Rev. Joseph Brasky will hold a rosary devotion for the repose of her soul tonight at 8 p. m. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church, and the remains will be taken to Byron for interment in St. John's cemetery.
Mrs. Sandow, nee Adeline Zimmerman, was born in this city on Sept. 12, 1868, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Zimmerman. She was married to John Attenberger, and they made their home on a farm near Oakfield. After the death of Mr. Attenberger she was married to Emil Sandow and they resided in this city until Mr. Sandow died two years ago. She then made her home with the children.
Surviving are the children, Eugene Attenberger, Oakfield; John of Silverton, Ore.; Mrs. William Wagner, Pewaukee; Mrs. Albert Collien, Oakfield; Mrs. Edward Lester and Mrs. Kelton Susong, in California; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild and the following sisters and brothers: Louis Zimmerman, this city; Matt Zimmerman, Lomira; Mrs. John Meid, Mrs. Henry Gulden, and John, Milwaukee; Sam, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Carl, Miles City, Mont.; Mrs. Charles Guth, San Mateo, Calif.; and Mrs. Christ Heine, Omaha, Nebr.
