ANDRES RODRIGUEZ
Andres Rodriguez, 42, of Route 1, Brownsville, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born in Asherton, Tex., on Nov. 30, 1933, a son of Jesus and Espernaa Gomez Rodriguez. He married Manuela Maldonado at Carrizo Springs, Tex., on June 20, 1953.
Mr. Rodriguez was employed by Western Lime and Cement Co. at Route 1, Brownsville, and was a member of the National Guard.
Surviving are his widow; six children, Dina, Corina, Sonia, Andres Jr., Hugo and Jerry all at home; his father of Carrizo Springs, Tex.; three brothers, Ramon and Blas both of Route 1, Brownsville, and Jesus Jr. of Carrizo Springs, Tex.; and a sister, Mrs. Natalia Rivera of Carrizo Springs, Tex. His mother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mar’s Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. John Goebel will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Rodriguez will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
