Obituary
MR. KIEFER
Andrew H. Kiefer, 65, of 536 W. Scott St., a former Lomira farmer, died Monday, July 19, 1982, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Oct. 13, 1916, at Lomira, a son of the late George and Catherine Hilbert Kiefer. He married Lucille Meis on Oct. 29, 1938, at Lomira, and she died Sept. 14, 1979. On May 16, 1960, he married Ellen Behnke in Fond du Lac.
Mr. Kiefer is survived by his wife; three sons, Leo of Theresa, Donald of Groveport, Ohio, and Eugene of Lomira; and five daughters, Mrs. Donald (Judy) Blada of Montello, Mrs. Daryl (Doris) Morgan, Mrs. Edwin (Donna) Stephany, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Lowery and Paula Kiefer all of Fond du Lac.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; three brothers, Anthony of Pipe, Bernard of North Fond du Lac and Peter of Fairwater; and three stepchildren, John Behnke of North Fond du Lac, Douglas Behnke of Peru, Ind., and Mrs. David DeClue of Fond du Lac. A son and brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira. The Rev. Eugene Wolf will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends of Mr. Kiefer may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira.
