CHURCH RITE IS SCHEDULED IN OAKFIELD
Andrew Roethle, 85, a former Oakfield resident, died Friday evening at Rolling Meadows where he resided for the past year.
Born April 2, 1884, in Rubicon, the son of Mr. and Ms. Henry Roethle, he married the former Rose Ziegler in 1907. They lived in Oakfield where he owned and operated a meat market for many years.
Survivors include his widow at Rolling Meadows; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Weber of Appleton and Mrs. Harry Blick of Oakfield; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Ruhland of Oshkosh and Miss Ottilia Roethle of Clearview home in Juneau; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Kohl’s Co. Funeral Home in Oakfield and at 10 a.m. from St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield with the Rev. Richard Fechhelm officiating. Burial will be in “St. John’s Cemetery, Byron.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services for Andrew Roethle of Oakfield, who died Friday, were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Kohls Co. Funeral Home, Oakfield, and 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield.
The Rev. Richard Fechhelm officiated. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery, Ripon.
Pallbearers were Robert Weinberger, Alvin Bristol, John Ogle, Joe Heimerl, Michael Blick and Les Cowles.
