Barney Gindt, 63, Brownsville, R. 1, died early today at St. Agnes Hospital following a lingering illness.
He was born in 1901, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nickolas Gindt. He farmed in the Brownsville area most of his life.
Surviving are the widow, the former Florence Lehman, whom he married June 23, 1925, in LeRoy; two daughters, Sister Mary Barnaby, Waspam, Nicaragua, and Mrs. Ernie Kraus, Peebles; two sons, John and Rodney, Brownsville; four sisters, Mrs. Kilian Wondra, Mayville, Mrs. Thomas Clifford, Fond du Lac, Mrs. William Schenk, Chicago, and Mrs. Albert Wantz, Pelham, N.Y; and two grandchildren.. A brother, Peter, and a son, Norman, preceded him in death.
The Kietzer Funeral home in Lomira will announce arrangements later. Tentative plans are for the funeral Saturday morning.
