BERNARD KIEFER
Bernard J. Kiefer, 79, of 1020 Wisconsin Ave., North Fond du Lac, died Monday, Feb. 28, 1994, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Lomira, a son of George and Catherine Hilbert Kiefer. On Aug. 21, 1937, he married Catherine Wessing at St. Mary's Church in Lomira. She preceded him in death. On Nov. 7, 1953, he married LaVerne Pribnow at St. Mary's Church, Lomira.
Mr. Kiefer was a graduate of Loir High School. He farmed in the Lomira area and then was employed at Brenner Tank Co.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Melvin and his wife Carol of Oshkosh, and David of Salem, one son, Roger of North Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Peter of Fairwater; and one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kiefer of Malone.
Preceding him in death were one son, Ronald; and three brothers.
Cremation will take place, with cremains buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lomira.
There is no visitation. Kietzer Funeral Home of Lomira is handling arrangements.
