Carol Jean Kindschuh, 57, of Longmont, Colo., formerly of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 7, 1999 at St. Agnes Hospital. Carol was born on Sept 23, 1941, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Earl and Genevieve Murphy Kindschuh. She was a graduate of Lomira High School.
Carol was employed as a personnel director at Combined Insurance of Fond du Lac, and later as a case worker by the Fond du Lac County Division of Family Support. Most recently, she was employed by the Police Department in Longmont, Colo. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Longmont.
Survivors include one son, Steven Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; three sisters, Patricia Eilbes and her husband Jerome o Brownsville, Diane Gavin and her husband Rodney of Kimball, Minn., and Beverly Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; one brother, Donald Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; three nephews, Mark Eilbes, Greg Gavin and David Gavin; one niece, Dawn Monzel; one uncle, Rollin Kindschuh of Milwaukee; two aunts, Florence Kindachuh of Milwaukee, and Marie Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; her special friend, Judy Lindberg; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father on March 4, 1953 and her mother on Oct.19, 1997. A Liturgy of the Word will be held Wednesday at Zacherl Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Zerkel will officiate. Burial will be at the St. John Catholic Church Cemetery in Byron.
The family wishes to thank everyone who cared for Carol during her illness and after her return from Colorado.
