MRS. CATHERINE BETZ
Mrs. Catherine Betz, 87, of the Town of Byron, died Tuesday at Maple Manor Nursing and Retirement Home.
Born June 3, 1880, in the Town of Lomira, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Susan Schmidt Delfeld. She was married to Henry Betz on Nov. 28, 1906, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Oscar Creuzer, Milwaukee, Mrs. Thomas Johnson, Campbellsport, and Mrs. Lloyd Huck, Byron; two sons, Raymond and Walter, both of Byron; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home and 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron. Rev. Joseph Mueller officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Byron.
