EDWIN SHADY
Edwin M. Shady, 62, of Oakfield, employed by Romart Mfg. Co. of Oakfield, until retiring in 1976 due to ill health, died Thursday afternoon. He was dead on arrival at St. Agnes Hospital due to an apparent heart attack.
He was born Feb. 19, 1915, in the Town of Oakfield, a son of the late Herman and Anna Zamzow Shady.
Mr. Shady is survived by two brothers, Herbert of Fond du Lac and Raymond of Brownsville; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Moon of Taycheedah, Mrs. Marie Ulhrich of Fond du Lac, and Ms. Alice Lesselyoung of Oakfield; two half-brothers, Melvin of Oakfield and Merton of Brownsville; and a half-sister, Mrs. Paul Redman of Oakfield.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kohls Funeral Home, Oakfield, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield. The Rev. Richard Fechhelm will officiate and burial will follow in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
Friends of Mr. Shady may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
