FUNERAL SET FOR RESIDENT OF LOMIRA
Ermin Gassner, 47, of Lomira, died Friday morning at t. Agnes Hospital after a long illness.
He was born July 31, 1922, the son of Joseph and Esther Scheberl Gassner. He married the former Delores Krueger April 27, 1946, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy.
He was employed by Star Malt & Grain Co. in Lomira until his sickness began in January.
He is survived by his wife; four children, Dianne, Eugene, Doreen and Danette, all at home; his mother; and four sisters Mrs. Aaron Retzlaff of Lomira, Mrs. Willard Krueger of Route 1, Mayville, Mrs. Reno Battestine, Brownsville, and Mrs. Arthur Hamburger of Fond du Lac.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira, the Rev. Ernest Dreher officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lomira. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at Kietzer Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ermin Gassner, who died Friday, were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church at Lomira.The Rev. Ernst Dreher officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.Pallbearers were Roger Gassner, Gordon Gassner, Ray Weyer, Myron Wagner, Lloyd Schwartzmiller and Clarion Musack.
