Eugenia F. Sitzwohl, 79, of Milwaukee, formerly of Campbellsport, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee.

She was born in the Town of Theresa on April 4, 1919, the daughter of Paul and Elenorea Hausinger Hefter.

She married Donald Sitzwohl on Sept. 12, 1942, at St. Andrew Church, LeRoy.

Mrs. Sitzwohl was employed at Stella Cheese –Universal Foods in Campbell sot and then at Krebs Chiropractic Office.  She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Milwaukee.  She and her husband, Don, greatly enjoyed the time they spent at their cottage at Jackson Port, Door County.

Survivors include her husband; two sisters, LaVerne (Joseph) Valen of West Allis, and Mable Zasada of Fond du Lac; her sister-in-law, Colleen Hefter of Milwaukee; her sisters and brother-in-law, Marlene and Jerry Schmitt of Mount Calvary, Genevieve Monson of Brown Deer, and Lorraine Sitzwohl of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lloyd Hefter; and her brother-in-law, George G. Zasada.

Services:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Campbellsport, following a 10:30 a.m. prayer service at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.  The Rev. Edwin Kornath will officiate.  Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Lomira.

Visitation:  From 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
