GENEVIEVE KINDSCHUH
Genevieve Lenora Kindschuh, 77, formerly of N3085 Highway 175, Byron, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997, at Grancare Nursing Center.
She was born on Jan 1, 1920, in the Town of Eden, the youngest of six children born to William j. and Loretta Long Murphy. She married Earl A. Kindschuh.
Mrs. Kindschuh was employed at Wells Manufacturing Co. and then at West Bend Co. in West Bend until retiring.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Byron and was active in many church functions, including NAIM and Church Women United.
She was a St. Agnes Hospice Hope volunteer, and enjoyed traveling, reading and socializing with her family and friends.
Survivors include five children, Patricia Eilbes and her husband Jerome of Brownsville, Carol Kindschuh of Longmont, Colo., Donald Kindschuh of Fond du Lac, Diane Gavin and her husband Rodney of Buffalo, Minn., and Beverly Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Mark Eilbes of Brownsville, Dawn Monzel and her husband Michael of Milwaukee, Gregory Gavin of Buffalo, Minn.., David Gavin and his wife Tracy of Annandale, Minn., and Steven Kindschuh of North Fond du Lac; one great-granddaughter, Claire Monzel of Milwaukee; one brother-in-law, Rollin Kindschuh of Milwaukee, two sisters-in-law, Florence Kindschuh of Fond du Lac; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1953; two brothers, Bernard and Francis Murphy and three sisters, Marie Eulgen, Margrite Corbett and Lucille Rucks.
Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Byron. The Rev. Donald Zerkel will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Zacherl Funeral Home, where a parish prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.; and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. to the time of services.
