HARVEY THILL
Harvey Albert Thill, 93, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1995, at Americana Healthcare Center.
He was born on June 9, 1902, in Sheboygan, a son of John and Katherine Beverse Thill. On Nov. 26, 1921, he married Edna Noll at St. John's Catholic Church I Byron.
Mr. Thill farmed in the Oakfield area until 1954 when he and his wife moved to Conover, where he operated a resort and was a carpenter for many years. He was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield.
Survivors include four sons, Robert and his wife Lorraine, and Eugene and his wife Barbara, all of Fond du Lac, Raymond and his wife Mary of Lamartine, and Larry of Fox Lake; four daughters, Ruth Rausch, Dorothy Franke, Rose Pixley and her husband Forrest, and Judy Ballwanz and her husband Ray, all of Oakfield; 38 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Heimerl of Brownsville; and one sister-in-law, Nellie Thill of Oakfield.
Preceding him in death were his wife, one son, six sisters and two brothers.
Services: Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. today at Avoca Cemetery. The Rev Don Zerkel officiated.
There is no visitation. Kohls community Funeral Home of Oakfield is handling arrangements.
