Obituary
Visitation for Herbert “Heps” A. Brinkman, 81, of 929 Main St., Lomira, is from 4 59 9 p.m. today at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church, Lomira, with the Rev. Jospeh Safiejko, pastor, and the Rev. Robert Brodzeller of Omaha, Neb., officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Brinkman died Friday, Dec. 27, 1985 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born Nov. 18, 1904, in Lomira, a son of John and Caroline Becker Brinkman. On Sept. 10, 1931, he married Betty Franey in St. Stephens, Ohio. Mr. Brinkman operated Brinkman Paint Store in Lomira unti his retirement. He was a charter member of Lomira Lions Club and was a long-time member of the Lomira Fire Department. He also was a member of St. Mary’s Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Thomas of Oshkosh; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Susan) Coffman of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Ronald (Becky) Helmeid of Fond du Lac; five grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Engman of Milwaukee; and two brothers, Harvey of Lomira and Alvin of Brownsville. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
