HERMAN FOERSTER
Herman J. Foerster, 72, of 958 Acorn Drive, Lomira, died at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 1979, at St. Agnes Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Sept. 4, 1907, in the Town of Ashford, a son of the late John and Magdalen Wondra Forester. He married Erna Hundertmark in the Town of Lomira on Dec. 18, 1937.
Mr. Foerster was a farmer in the Town of Byron, and was later employed as a millwright in Green
Bay, retiring in 1968.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Compton of Green Bay; a grandson; three brothers, Alvin of Neenah, Jerome of Fond du Lac and John of Random Lake; and a sister, Miss Marcella Forester of West Bend. A sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Keitzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lomira. The Rev. John Goebel will officiate, and burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Byron.
Visitation for Mr. Foerster will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
