MR. AGERS
J. Claude Agers, 75, of Route 2, Town of Byron, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 1983, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born Sept. 23, 1907, in the Town of Byron, to the late John and Nellie Burke Agers. He farmed in the Town of Byron.
A sister, Hazel Agers of Route 2, survives. A sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron, where he was a member.
Friends of Mr. Agers may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Hope.
